Admissions for 2019-2020 School Year

We are accepting online applications for the current 2019-2020 School Year. Upon receipt of your application, an entrance interview invitation will be sent via email 2 weeks prior to the interview date. To inquire about your application status, please contact us at admissions@icms.edu.hk.

Admissions for 2020-2021 School Year

Online application for September 2020 intake began Monday, 16th September 2019. Applications received on or after 1 December 2019 will be reviewed individually and accepted on a rolling basis. Interview invitations will be sent approximately 2 weeks before the interview date by email.

Please note: Children must be at least 12 months old to be granted an entrance interview. If your child is too young, we will contact you once they have turned 12 months old.

Current Playgroup Students
Current playgroup students have priority consideration for admission, but must follow the same application procedure.

Current Pre-Casa (Pre-Nursery) Students

Current Pre-Casa (Pre-Nursery) students will receive an invitation to join the Casa program, pending age and readiness. There is no need to apply to Casa separately.

Former Students

Former students who wish to be re-admitted to ICMS are required to apply anew.

Phase 1:  Applications received 16^th September to 30^th November 2019

• Approximately two weeks before the entrance interview, applicants will receive an email invitation to attend the interview.
• We may not be able to reschedule if applicants are unable to attend.
• Applicants will receive their interview results by email no later than mid-January 2020. There will be no further notification given.

Phase 2:  Applications received after 1^st December 2019

• For applications submitted on or after December 1, 2019, the interview process will begin in February 2020.
• Applicants will receive their Interview results by email within 1 month after their entrance interview. There will be no further notification given.

Placement Offer

1. Priority placement will be given to:

• Currently enrolled ICMS students
• Siblings of current students
• Debenture holders

2. Successful applicants will receive a Placement Offer by email. Parents must complete the registration process by the deadline stated on the Offer Letter to confirm your acceptance of the offer, usually 14 days from the date of the letter.
3. If the applicant’s interview is successful but the preferred class session or campus is full, the parent has the option to join a waitlist or accept placement in another class or campus, subject to space availability.
4. If the parent has not replied to accept the placement offer by the deadline on the Offer Letter, the applicant’s placement offer will not be held and the application will be suspended. Parents should contact admissions@icms.edu.hk regarding remaining space availability for placement.

IMPORTANT

1. Please read the application procedure carefully before applying.
2. To prevent the confirmation email from going to your junk or spam folder, please add admissions@icms.edu.hkto your safe sender list before applying.
3. Please do not mail in your application again after applying online.

Please have the following JPEG images or scanned documents ready for uploading. File size should be under 2MB each, and resolution should be 200dpi (common standard resolution).

Documents to submit:

1. Digital passport-sized recent photograph of the applicant (jpg only).
2. Copy of applicant’s birth certificate. See #6 below for non-local families.
3. Copy of applicant’s immunization record.
4. Non-refundable $40 application fee (paid by credit card when completing the online form).
5. Debenture application number (see below for details)
6. Non-local families – in accordance with Hong Kong Education Bureau regulations, non-local children may enter, or reside in, Hong Kong for the purpose of education only with the approval of the Director of Immigration.

Applications submitted without a valid email address will not be processed.

• Applicants will receive an email invitation. Please print and bring the invitation on the day of the interview.
• Applicants should be accompanied by one parent during the interview. Switching of parents will not be permitted once the interview has started.
• Each interview consists of two parts: the first part is student-teacher interaction time; the second part is group interaction time.
• The interview lasts approximately 30 minutes.
• Interviews will be centralized at North Point Campus.
• Interview results will be sent by email before mid-January 2020. No further notification will be given.

Acceptance of the offer must be confirmed and accompanied by the submission of the below documents and payments on or before the deadline on the Offer Letter:

• Signed Contract of Enrolment
• Completed bank autopay form
• Payment of first month’s tuition and material fee if the start date is within 30 days

OR

• HK$970 reservation fee if the start date is more than 30 days away

The debenture allows us to maintain and continue to improve the overall school environment and quality of programs for our students, meet the cost of major school projects and provide for the sustainability of the school during the time your child studies with us and in the future.

Debenture holders will be given priority interview scheduling and admissions placement ahead of non-debenture holders.

Please have the proof of payment ready when you submit your online application for Kindergarten or Pre-Nursery.

Redemption of the Debenture

After commencement of school, the debenture will be refundable with a minimum of 2 full calendar months’ notice, subject to the terms and conditions of the Debenture Application.
