Your child must be at least 16 months old at the time of entry. No interview required.

Admissions for 2017-2018 School Year

Phase 1 of Applications for the 2017-18 school year has ended. Applications received on or after 20 November 2016 will be reviewed individually and accepted on a rolling basis. Interview invitation will be sent approximately 2 weeks before the interview date by email.

  1. Children must be at least 12 months old to be granted an entrance interview. If your child is too young, we will contact you once they have turned 12 months old.

For Admission to the 2016-2017 School Year

We are accepting applications on a rolling basis. Applications submitted during this phase will be considered on an individual basis and acceptance will be subject to availability of space. Successful applicants may be waitlisted if no space is available.

Application Procedure

Online application for September 2017 intake begins Monday, September 12, 2016.

Applications submitted during this phase will be considered on an individual basis. Interviews will be conducted on the following Saturdays: October 8, November 5 and December 3, 2016.

Due to the large number of applicants, there will be no rescheduling once interview times are arranged by the school. If the applicant is unable to attend the interview on the assigned interview day for any reason, the application fee will not be refundable under any circumstances.

Current Playgroup Students
Current playgroup students have priority consideration for admission, but must follow the same application procedure.

Current Pre-Casa (Pre-Nusery) Students
Students who are currently attending Pre-Casa will receive a Casa Enrolment Intent Letter. There is no need to apply to Casa separately.

Former students who wish to be re-admitted to ICMS are required to apply anew.

Applying for Multiple Campuses

If you wish to apply for more than one campus, please submit an application along with the application fee for EACH campus

Note: if a successful applicant's preferred campus or class is full, the applicant will be offered placement at another campus. There is no need to apply separately.

  • Applicants must submit all required information, documents and proof of payment of a non-refundable HK$40 application fee in the online application.

    In accordance with Hong Kong Education Bureau regulations, non-local children may enter, or reside in, Hong Kong for the purpose of education only with the approval of the Director of Immigration. Non-local children should have obtained residence approval from the Director of Immigration before commencing studies.

  • A student number will be assigned upon submission.

  • Applicants will be notified of the interview details by email.

  • Interviews will be conducted at the Tin Hau Main Campus.

  • Interview results for the above dates, regardless of outcome, will be sent by email before mid-January 2017. Successful applicants will be offered a placement. No further notification will be given.

  • For applications submitted on or after December 1, 2016, we will start conducting interviews after mid-January 2017.

  • Acceptance of the offer must be confirmed and accompanied by payment. All admissions documents and fee must be submitted within the deadline stated in the offer letter, usually 14 days from the date of the letter.

Required Documents

When completing the online application, you will be asked to upload JPEG images of scanned documents. File size should be under 2MB each, and resolution should be 200dpi (common standard resolution).

Applications with missing documents or application fee will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.

Required documents:

  1. A passport-sized photograph taken within 3 months of the application

  2. Birth certificate or passport

  3. Proof of payment of a non-refundable HK$40 application fee (see payment methods)

    The bank deposit slip is your proof of payment. Please include your child's name with the deposit slip.

    IMPORTANT: About bank charges
    When making payment of the application fee or other school related fees, applicants will be responsible for all bank charges, including any that may be incurred at the beneficiary bank.

Submitted documents will not be returned regardless of the outcome of the child's application. All collected personal data is used for application purposes only. We will keep personal data of unsuccessful applicants for a maximum period of 12 months, after which it will be destroyed.

About the Interview

  • Applicants will receive an email invitation. Please print and bring the invitation on the day of the interview.

  • Applicants should be accompanied by one parent during the interview. Switching of parents will not be permitted once the interview has started.

  • Each interview consists of two parts: the first part is student-teacher interaction time; the second part is group interaction time.

  • The interview lasts approximately one hour.

  • If the applicant is offered placement but later wishes to transfer to another campus, a new application for that campus must be submitted.

Overseas Applicants

If you are applying from outside of Hong Kong and will not be able to attend the interview on one of the 3 interview days stated above, under the Parent Expectation field, please enter a date that your child will be able to attend an interview.

  3. Please use Google Chrome to apply online. The EVI application system does not support Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Firefox or Safari.

  4. Please do not mail in your application again after applying online.
